Duro-Last's custom-prefabricated, reinforced, PVC roofing system is ideal for any flat or low-sloped application. Extremely durable and easily installed by authorized contractors without disruption to daily operations, the Duro-Last single-ply roofing system is also leak-proof, resistant to chemicals, fire and high winds, and virtually maintenance-free. Over a billion square feet of the Duro-Last PVC roofing system membrane have been installed on all types of commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings across the globe. Prefabrication of Duro-Last's PVC roof membrane not only reduces the material waste associated with the installation of most rolled systems, it also eliminates 80-85% of the typical on-site, labour-intensive seaming required for other single-ply roofing systems. The Duro-Last roofing system also comes complete with all accessories included.

The Duro-Last vinyl roof membrane is a proprietary thermoplastic formulation consisting of PVC resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, biocides, flame retardants and U.V. absorbents. A weft-insertion knitted scrim that is laminated between two layers of PVC film gives the membrane its strength and durability. The Duro-Last membrane is available in white, tan, grey, or dark grey.

The highly-reflective Cool Zone membrane helps reduce energy consumption. The Cool Zone system can often be installed over your existing roof, eliminating a costly tear-off and reducing landfill waste.
The tightly-controlled manufacturing process recycles scrap back into roofing membrane and other products. When your time is right for a photovoltaic system, the Cool Zone system is solar-ready. And after its useful life on your rooftop, the membrane is recyclable.

THE DURO-LAST MEMBRANE: STRONG AND DURABLE

The Duro-Last membrane is a proprietary thermoplastic formulation that provides exceptional flexibility, reflectivity, resistance to U.V. radiation, and flame retardance. Roofing system performance is a balance between film formulation, membrane thickness, and reinforcement.
Duro-Last adds no "filler" material to increase the membrane thickness; our film is the same proven formula from top to bottom. Plus, our membrane's over-scrim thickness is equal to or greater than that of many competitive single-ply products.

A key Duro-Last difference is the reinforcement scrim within the membrane. It's a weft-insertion scrim with a density of 14 x 18 threads-per-inch – among the highest in the industry. The Duro-Last 40-mil membrane is classified as a ASTM D4434 Type IV PVC roofing system, but the strength characteristics pass all the standards for 50-mil products, which are classified as ASTM D4434 Type III PVC.
